          Description: This is a collection of recipes from a variety of family members and friends. Some have been re-written to make them easier to make and others are my own creation. The recipes are very simple and require only a few ingredients. Anyone can make these dishes without expensive ingredients!

          Favorite Recipe:
          Sweet & Sour Ribs

          • 3-4 lbs. pork ribs
          • 1/4 tsp. salt
          • 1/8 tsp. pepper
          • 1 1/2 T. soy sauce
          • 3 T. prepared mustard
          • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
          • 1/2 tsp.garlic
          • 1 (12 oz.) can cola
          • 1/2 c. catsup
          Place ribs in roaster. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Drain. Mix soy sauce, mustard, sugar, garlic, cola & catsip in a bowl. Pour over meat. Cover. Return to oven, reduce heat to 300 degrees. Bake 60 minutes or until tender and meat thermometer reads 165 degrees. Baste several times while cooking. Serves 6-8. Be sure to pass a small pitcher at the table, so guests can add more sauce to their ribs.
